Eventos Primium offers buyers guide
Eventos Premium Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., has published its annual edition of the ``1995 Latin American Plastics Industry Directory & Buyers Guide.''
The 196-page, softcover guide lists 3,187 companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.
This represents more than a 50 percent increase in the number of firms listed compared with the 1994 edition, said Hilda Gurdian, sales and marketing manager for Eventos Premium.
Product listings are in Spanish and English, and the companies included are subdivided into four sections - finished and semifinished products manufacturers; resins and compounds; chemicals and additives; and machinery, auxiliary equipment, molds and tools.
The publication lists mostly plastics processors in the six countries, but also covers suppliers to Latin America's plastics industry that are based in the United States, Canada, Italy and Germany. Records contain company name, contact name and complete address, plus telephone and fax numbers.
The directory is $100. Shipping and handling cost $4 within the United States and $9 to Canada; outside the United States and Canada, add $15 to receive by mail or $45 by courier.

``Scrap Plastics 1995 Directory of U.S. & Canadian Scrap Processors and Buyers'' is a 157-page list of 450 plastics recyclers and recycling-related companies in North America, their services and material specialties.
Entries include information on services and specialties of companies, including the materials with which they work, and the processes they perform.
Brokers, and transfer agents are also listed, along with contact information, and the names of executive-level officials.
Companies can be referenced under the materials they handle as well as by state.
