SPI Midwest Section planning two events
TROY, MICH. - ``Cost Management in the Plastics Industry,'' a miniconference, will be held April 26 at the Troy Marriott.
The Midwest Section of the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. is sponsoring the event. SPI also will hold a roundtable in Wisconsin on May 4, but the location will be announced later.

Utech Asia scheduled for May in Singapore
SUNTEC CITY, SINGAPORE - Utech Asia '95, a polyurethane conference and exhibition for Southeast Asia, will be held May 23-25 at the Suntec City trade show complex in Singapore.
About 50 companies will exhibit at the show. More than 40 presentations will be made, including the widespread adoption of hydrocarbon blowing technology by the European appliance sector, the use of liquid carbon dioxide to make flexible slabstock foams and the growing use of flexible foam based on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate.

Packaging meeting globally oriented
WASHINGTON-Plastics for Packaging Food USA, set for June 21-22 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, has a global focus.
Speakers will include officials from the European Commission, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the United Kingdom Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food, and Health and Welfare Canada. The theme is boosting trade through legislation.
