    Regional

    ASTM will hold two courses at a number of locations on different dates. Major Testing Techniques for Plastics will be held May 16-18 in Charlotte, N.C.; September 19-21 in Philadelphia; and Nov. 28-30 in San Francisco. Instrumental Analysis of Thermoplastic and Thermoset Polymers is scheduled for Oct. 23-25 in Philadelphia. Contact (215) 299-5480.

    The Macbeth Division Kollmorgen Instruments Corp. has announced the schedule for its traveling Fundamentals of Color seminar. The two-day conference is an introduction to the basic principles of color science and is for people involved in the design, production, quality control or inspection of materials. The seminars are scheduled for Newton, Mass., May 23-24; St. Louis, June 6-7; Rosemont, Ill., June 20-21.

    The National Center for Tooling & Precision Components training programs and course schedule for the second and third quarters has been released.     The Society of Manufacturing Engineers and its Associations for Finishing Processes released its schedule of 1995 finishing events. Course topics include the fundamentals of electrocoating, powder coating and tool coating; troubleshooting powder systems; radiation curing for automotive applications; spray application methods for powder coating; environmental compliance for coating.
