CLEVELAND - A Canton, Ohio-based company that operates a mobile oil-recycling service is planning to expand. Warren Schoenfelt, sales manager for Puritech Recycling Systems Inc., said he has enough customers in the Midwest to warrant a second recycling truck, which he would like to add this summer.
Interviewed at Plastics Fair Cleveland, Schoenfelt said his business is based on the idea of taking the lubricant reprocessing plant to the customer. The firm takes its truck to a manufacturing site and filters, cleans and decontaminates oils and fluids that have leaked from machinery or been overused.
The mobile facility can process about 800 gallons of hydraulic fluid per hour, and renders it clean enough to be returned to the customer to use again.
