The cost of plastics waste processors ordered by the U.S. Navy for its surface ships is about $330,000 each. A Page 1, Aug. 21 article indicated the Navy was buying 22 of the devices for that amount. The 22 machines cost $7.3 million. A story on Page 31 in the Aug. 21 issue misidentified an executive who spoke at Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc.'s annual meeting. Chairman James B. Brooks made the announcement to shareholders about contingencies for handling the cost of the company's lawsuit with Mobil Corp. The story also misstated the number of AERT patents involved in the suit. There were four patents.
