ARKAY PLASTICS - Russell Rice was named senior quality engineer for the Monroe, Ohio, injection molder. Dave Whitaker was named process engineer. John Roberts was promoted to shift supervisor. COOKSON SPECIALTY MOLDING GROUP - Rob Reivik was named president of Loudon Plastics Inc., and Bruce Quay was named president of Pacific Industries Inc. Both Cookson subsidiaries are based in Latham, N.Y. Reivik will head up all operations related to plastic pallets and custom molding. He previously was vice president/general manager of Loudon. Quay will oversee the polymer swimming pool business and is responsible for the manufacturing, production planning, and human resources functions of the combined Loudon and Pacific divisions. He was vice president/general manager of Pacific. Ron Prior was named vice president of manufacturing and an officer of the company, responsible for both Loudon and Pacific. Kieran Brown was named export manager. Jon Hulme was named president of the newly consolidated Bicknell Distributors Inc. and Huston Distributors Inc. For Cookson Molding Group, Doug Colson was named managing director of European Operations, and Jona-than Prutton was named senior vice president, corporate development.
ECHLIN INC. - David Lee was named vice president of engineering for the Branford, Conn.-based manufacturer of metal and plastic automotive parts, such as distributor caps and various types of switches.
LDM TECHNOLOGIES INC. - Gordon Miller was named design director for the Troy, Mich., manufacturer and first-tier supplier to the autmotive industry.
PORTAGE INDUSTRIES CORP. - C. Sue Finley was named vice president of operations for the Portage, Wis., extruder and thermoformer. She also directs sales for the extrusion and light-gauge thermoforming divisions.
SATURN CORP. - Skip LeFauve was named chairman of the Troy, Mich.-based division of General Motors Corp. He is succeeded as chief executive officer and president by Don Hudler, who was vice president of sales, service and marketing. Hudler also was named a GM vice president.
THOMBERT INC. - Walter Smith was named Iowa's 1995 small business person of the year. Smith is chairman and chief executive officer of the Newton, Iowa, maker of plastic wheels for trucks and industrial transportation equipment.
