A sentence toward the end of a Sept. 18, Page 52 story about cost containment in the composites industry should have read: ``Numerically controlled machines automatically lay down prepreg bands formed from up to 32 tows [of carbon] at speeds up to 100 feet per minute.'' A carbon tow is a type of fiber used in the manufacturing process.
