LUXEMBURG, WIS.-N.E.W. Plastics Corp. will open a plant in Luxemburg by late October or early November to augment its recycled plastics business. President Irving Vincent said the 23,000-square-foot facility will double the company's capacity to process high density polyethylene. It also will house nine recycling lines, including four new lines.
The firm bought the building for $600,000, Vincent said.
The company will maintain production at its original 72,000-square-foot Luxemburg site and at its 115,000-square-foot Coleman, Wis., plant. It will hire about 30 people.
The company uses recycled material to make profiles and plastic picnic tables, pallets, landscape timbers, decking and sheeting.
