DUSSELDORF, GERMANY - Conair Europe Ltd., part of the U.S.-based auxiliary equipment manufacturer Conair Group, showed a new, easier-to-use control panel on its CML central vacuum material conveyor. The unit was developed by Conair Churchill in Uxbridge, England, Conair's European manufacturing headquarters. It is available in the United States.
The system controls up to 10 hopper loaders. Screens on the panel cover optional features such as common material line valves, line clearance valves, regrind proportioning valves, positive discharge loaders and Conair's throat-mounted K-loaders.
A touch screen shows a display of the system, parameters, status and alarm conditions. Password protection restricts the control panel to authorized people to operate the system, although viewing only is available without the need for a password.
Conair also said it increased cooling capacity on another product made by Churchill, the Thermocool TCA/W range of chillers. Conair Group is based in Pittsburgh.
Conair Churchill manufactures mold heaters, chillers, material-handling equipment and robots. Conair Europe, also based in Uxbridge, markets Conair equipment made by Churchill and other Conair divisions.
Other equipment at the trade show in Dusseldorf included a compact Autoweigh gravimetric blender and a new high-capacity pump as an option on the Thermolator range of water temperature controllers.
