WINCHESTER, VA. - O'Sullivan Corp. and Kiefel GmbH will team up to make thermoforming and radio frequency welding machines and tools. The joint venture, Kiefel Technologies Inc. in Hampton, N.H., initially will supply thermoforming equipment to the North American automotive market. The partners expect 1996 sales of $6 million for the venture, growing to $15 million by the year 2000, according to Winchester-based O'Sullivan.
Kiefel GmbH of Freilassing, Germany, makes thermoforming and RF welding machines and tools. O'Sullivan's Plastics Division produces PVC cover stock for automotive, medical and office supply products. O'Sullivan products often are processed on Kiefel equipment.
