TROY, ALA. - One of the largest recyclers in North America is adding equipment to balance its washing and extrusion capabilities. KW Plastics Recycling added a third 8-inch extrusion line to its production March 15, and plans a fourth for operation in 90 days, according to Arthur Ferguson, president.
Ferguson said the additions will give KW Plastics three 6-inch and four 8-inch extrusion lines in all.
The company also will add a fourth automatic color sorter to its separation lines later in the year, and has added 20,000-square-feet to one of its buildings dedicated to boxing operations, freeing up more space for manufacturing.
KW Plastics of Troy, is a recycler of polypropylene and high density polyethylene.
