ROGERS, ARK. - FM Corp. of Rogers is reorganizing its plant layout and adding a paint line. The injection molding company is investing $1.5 million in making its manufacturing flow more efficient. In reorganizing, FM is adding a new preparation room, a paint line and new loading docks, all within the plant's current 145,000 square feet.
New paint equipment will be added as well.
``Our customers are into having their parts painted on both sides,'' said Richard Schowalter, sales manager. ``We've added ovens for water-based paints and we're also able to pack the parts as they come off the line.''
FM processes polypropylene, polystyrene, polyethylene and engineered resins for the medical, telecommunications, industrial, computer and recreation industries. The company had $22 million in sales last year and has 102 employees.
