MONROE, CONN. - Connecticut Metal Industries Inc. has opened a polymer recycling division for post-consumer plastic bottles. The Monroe-based firm said it will buy baled high density polyethylene and PET bottles and post-industrial scrap. The division will be headed by Todd Petrocelli, who will be based in Woburn, Mass.
Connecticut Metal also will maintain buying offices in Monroe and in Brampton, Ontario. The 12-year-old company is privately owned.
