FORT WORTH, TEXAS - A 28-year-old worker was killed Sept. 16 apparently while cleaning a blending machine at an M.A. Hanna Color compounding facility in Fort Worth. The company and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death, according to Barbara Gould, director of investor relations and communications for M.A. Hanna Co. of Cleveland.
Richie Watson was working the night shift when the incident happened, Gould said. He had worked for Hanna for about four months.
Gould and an OSHA spokesman in Fort Worth said they could not comment further while the investigation is under way.
