St. Louis-St. Louis-based Harbour Group, which owns auxiliary equipment maker AEC Inc., announced Nov,. 13 it will purchase HydReclaim Corp., a Michigan company that makes blenders, material conveying systems and reclaim equipment. Harbour will retain the HydReclaim brand name and operate HydReclaim's plant in Fenton, Mich., which employs about 60, said Bruce Freeman, who heads Harbour's plastics equipment businesses. Terms were not disclosed. Bill Moller, who with his wife, Carolyn, founded HydReclaim in 1975, will remain with the company as vice president and general manager.
Harbour Group bought AEC, based in Wood Dale, ILL., in early 1995. Freeman said the HydReclaim purchase complements the AEC/Whitlock unit, also in Wood Dale, which makes blending, conveying and drying equipment.
