LANSING, MICH. — State officials, plastics companies and others will meet this spring in Lansing to discuss employment, regulation and other issues affecting the plastics industry. The Plastics Industry Summit and Exposition, scheduled for April 10, will focus on school-to-work and employee-certification programs. Other topics to be discussed include job training and development, and Michigan's regulatory climate.
The summit is sponsored by the Michigan Jobs Commission and the Michigan Plastics Industry Roundtable, a public-private partnership that includes more than 100 plastics companies and educational institutions.
The Lansing Center downtown will house the meeting.
