CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Milacron Inc.'s global blow molding business is now reporting to James Abbiati, who also will continue to head Milacron's extrusion business. The company also named two senior managers to head efforts in South America. Abbiati, a 30-year machinery veteran, has worked at Milacron for the past three years as vice president and general manager of the extrusion business. His new title is vice president of plastics machinery systems business.
Abbiati will report to William Gruber, vice president of U.S. Plastics Machinery.
Milacron, based in Cincinnati, also appointed Richard Frank as managing director of plastics machinery in South America, and Richard Tinurelli as sales director of plastics machinery in South America.
Tinurelli is relocating to the firm's South American headquarters in SÃo Paulo, Brazil.
Frank has 20 years of experience in international marketing and finance in capital equipment. He has served for the past two years as marketing director for European injection molding, working out of Milacron's facility in Malterdingen, Germany. One of his key objectives will be to expand Milacron sales channels in all the South American countries.
