Tenneco Packaging has introduced a cast stretch film designed for overhead, high-speed, pallet-wrapping equipment, called Max Plus II.
A core of metallocene linear low density polyethylene makes the multilayer film puncture-resistant, the firm said. The most recent addition to Tenneco's MaxTech line of stretch films, it offers high clarity, consistent cling and stretch levels of more than 250 percent, the firm said.
Tenneco Packaging's Specialty Products Division, based in Deerfield, Ill., introduced Max Plus II late last year at Pack Expo in Chicago. Tenneco Inc. acquired the MaxTech technology as part of Mobil Chemical Co.'s Plastics Division in late 1995.
