ANDERSON, S.C. — G.O.B. Polymers Inc. ceased production of polyethylene film in December.
The Anderson firm shut down operations at its two local plants in anticipation of selling one plant and expanding the other. The firm reported sales of $6.5 million last year, and has three extrusion lines. G.O.B. had 18 employees and served the building and construction, swimming pool, agricultural, trash bag, pallet overwrap and industrial liner markets.
Rajiv Batra, general manager, did not know when operations would resume, or if they would resume under the G.O.B. name.
