CANLUBANG, PHILIPPINES — Right Pak International Corp., a subsidiary of Manila-based San Miguel Corp., is building a new plant that will produce hot-fill PET bottles.The Canlubang facility will have a capacity of 28 million PET bo ttles a year at an estimated cost of US$9.42 million (245 million pesos). It is scheduled to be completed by March 1998.SMC, the parent company, will use the bottles for its products such as juices, tea, energy drinks, and hot-fill ed beverages like pickles and preserves. SMC is the Philippines' largest producer of food and beverages.
