AKRON, OHIO — Plastics News correspondent Roger Renstrom has assumed responsibility for covering the computer and business equipment industries, following the departure of correspondent Clare Goldsberry.
Renstrom, with more than 15 years of journalism experience, including reporting and managerial roles at the Chicago Tribune, has contributed to Plastics News from La Jolla, Calif., since late 1993. He also has several years of experience in public relations management positions with such firms as ITT Corp., Rohr Corp. and Northrop Corp.
Goldsberry, who worked as a Phoenix-based reporter and columnist for Plastics News since mid-1989, resigned recently to pursue her ambition of writing and publishing plastics-related books and to build her own public relations business.
As a former tooling salesperson, Goldsberry also wrote frequently about mold making. Plastics News staff reporter Joe Pryweller in Detroit now has primary responsibility for covering the mold-making industry.
Renstrom can be reached at tel. (619) 459-7744, fax (619) 551-5510, or via e-mail at renstrom @connectnet.com. Pryweller can be reached at tel. (313) 446-1693, fax (313) 446-0383, or by e-mail at [email protected]
