GW Plastics has opened a process development center in South Royalton, Vt., for testing, documenting and statistically qualifying molds headed for all three of the company's production sites.
The 5,000-square-foot center employs six and cost $1 million to open, said industry manager Tim Reis. The center is testing molds on three injection presses.
The company's Tucson, Ariz., facility, which started production March 1, is ``starting to come to life,'' he said. The molder is based in Bethel, Vt.
