H&S Products has added 20,000 square feet to its Fremont, Calif., plant, giving it 65,000 square feet, according to Camacho De Freitas, sales engineer for the firm. The company also spent $180,000 on a computer numerically controlled machine and has seen its pressure forming and vacuum forming business take off, he said.
H&S moved its engineering department into the new space, which provides room for growth, he said. De Freitas would not disclose the cost of the expansion, which happened last month.
The company's CNC business has doubled in the past 18 months, he said. About two-thirds of the firm's business is in medical supplies, he said. H&S is a division of Holman Plastics Inc. of Fremont.
