TENNENT, N.J. — With the drop in post-consumer PVC recycling, Bayshore Vinyl Compounds is moving back into post-industrial reprocessing.
Bayshore's subsidiary, Ricicla, can process 25 million pounds per month of post-industrial PVC. The division recycles clear rigid, black and white PVC and will do custom work on other PVC types.
``We have a decent post-industrial business,'' said President Barry Axelrod. ``We will become better at [post-industrial] because of our experience with post-consumer scrap.''
Ricicla had sales of about $2 million last year while Bayshore had about $20 million.
