GARDENA, CALIF. — Rotonics Manufacturing Inc. is expanding several of its rotomolding plants by adding machinery and square footage, though few details are available.
Officials of the Gardena company did not disclose the amount invested. The Gainesville, Texas, plant has added a new rotomolder and a Motion Master computerized automatic router. About 13,800 square feet also have been added. The number of machines and employees was not available.
RMI's Denver plant bought property to give it a total of 62,000 square feet on 9.7 acres, to allow for future expansion. Also, it added two rotomolders and a router. RMI expects all expansions to be completed by this summer.
