AKRON, OHIO — Plastics News is seeking nominations for its annual Processor of the Year award. Eligible are private and public companies or corporate operating divisions engaged primarily in plastics processing in North America for at least five years.
Entries will be judged by Plastics News' editorial board based on verifiable achievements during the period of Aug. 1, 1996, to Aug. 1, 1997. Judging will be based on marketing and quality performance, customer and employee relations, environmental record and public service.
To nominate a company, submit a nominating letter of 250 words or less and an entry form to: Processor of the Year award, Plastics News, 1725 Merriman Road, Akron, Ohio 44313. Nominations must be received by Aug. 15.

The award will be announced Oct. 13 and presented at a special event Nov. 1 at the Society of Plastics Engineers Processors' Conference '97, scheduled for Nov. 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio.
The 1996 award went to injection molder Bryan Custom Plastics in Bryan, Ohio.
