CMM Europe 1998 to be held in Paris
The Miller Freeman Group USA of New York, producer of the CMM International conference held April 14-17 at Chicago's McCormick Place, will sponsor a European converting machinery exposition and conference next year.
CMM Europe is scheduled for Sept. 15-18, 1998, in Paris, according to Leo Nadolske, vice president of CMM Industrial Shows.
The inaugural event at the Nord-Ville Pinte Convention Center is expected to attract 250 exhibitors and more than 8,000 attendees, Nadolske said in a news release.
The biennial CMM '97 in Chicago featured 800 exhibitors and drew more than 33,000 visitors from 70 countries, according to the show's sponsor. In 1995, the exhibition attracted 32,000 attendees.
Courtaulds offering fluorescent film
Courtaulds Performance Films of Martinsville, Va., is offering a new fluorescent-dyed polyester film exhibiting both the brightness and the enhanced ``light-piping'' effect of the company's deep-dyeing process. The colors will not flake, scratch off, rub off, peel off or streak, according to the company.
