CHICAGO — Julien Environmental Technology SA (Booth N5932), a division of Norsemen SA of Brussels, Belgium, is featuring recycling machines that process commingled plastic waste into marketable products. The JET 3650, developed and built in cooperation with Longinotti Meccanica SpA, recycles mixed and contaminated waste into profiles.
Based on the 3000 model, the 3650 offers a low-pressure adiabatic extruder, an automatic molding turret and easily interchangeable molds.
In addition, the new version provides a reinforced and solid mold-carrying shaft and cooling tank, for heavier and larger-dimensioned molds.
Other upgrades include a combined mechanical expulsion and extraction system for more complex shapes, hydraulic or electric extruder drive systems and a direct electro-mechanical drive system for the mold carrier placed outside the cooling tank.
JET has granted an exclusive license to Lankhorst Recycling BV of Sneek, Netherlands, that covers the manufacture of machines for recycling mixed and contaminated plastic waste into end products.
JET offers three standard groups of machines for producing profiles, pallets and other large-size, multidimensional products. The equipment offers production capacities as high as 1,300 pounds per hour, the company said. JET, also in Brussels, employs about 140.
