CLEVELAND — PET and high density polyethylene will remain the leading recycled plastics, with packaging remaining the largest market based on volume potential, according to a new report.
Growth will be fostered by improved recycling networks and technologies. But threats to further advances include cheaper virgin materials and lack of volume markets, according to the study by Freedonia Group Inc. of Cleveland.
