CHICAGO — The 1998 version of Germany's K plastics show again has sold out its 1.5 million square feet of exhibition space, and will feature a special, three-day session on plastics use in medical technology, its organizers announced at NPE 1997 in Chicago.
The show, scheduled for Oct. 22-29 in Dusseldorf, is expected to attract about 2,300 exhibitors and 260,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, according to Karlheinz Wismer, managing director of Messe Dusseldorf. Those are comparable numbers to K'95.
The ``K'98 Special Medical Technology'' presentation Oct. 26-28 will include technical lectures, discussions and a special exhibit showcasing plastics raw materials, processes and uses in medical applications. It is targeted at designers, developers and manufacturers from the medical technology industry, according to K organizers.
