MOUNTAIN, WIS.—Mountain-based custom injection molder Nicolet Plastics Inc. recently completed a reconfiguration of its main manufacturing plant.
The change has enabled the company to double the space for mold-making operations in what was the warehouse, a 4,000-square-foot facility. The warehouse was moved into what was the tool shop, which is half that size.
At the beginning of the year, the company bought electric discharge machines and computer numerically controlled production equipment for use in the larger facility.
The firm also plans to add two employees to its current staff of 35 as a result of the changes. Company officials were unavailable to comment further on the expansion or its cost.
