OLMSTED FALLS, OHIO — The newest set of regional plastics trade shows has a new partner, but has canceled an event scheduled for this fall in Anaheim, Calif.
The Plastics Show, sponsored by Traverse Lerew Group of Olmsted Falls, formed a partnership with Industrial Shows of America, an independent producer of industrial and machine tool shows. Traverse Lerew was formed by Rebecca Lerew, former show manager for Advanstar Expositions.
Traverse Lerew announced that it was canceling what would have been its inaugural show, slated for Nov. 4-6 in Anaheim. According to a news release, the show was postponed ``to allow time to completely develop the joint venture'' with ISOA. The Anaheim show has not been rescheduled.
As a result, the group's first show now is scheduled for April 7-9 in Philadelphia. Traverse Lerew also announced dates for its second show, Nov. 4-6, 1998, in Detroit's Cobo Hall.
