TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — For the first time, the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. is sending a representative to Plasto-Ispack '97.
``We want to open the lines of communication both ways for the two groups,'' said SPI spokeswoman Lori Anderson.
Don Gruenberg, president of Thermal Care in Niles, Ill., will meet with Israeli organizations and government representatives to discuss the Israeli and U.S. plastics industries.
Anderson said SPI hopes to share information to open the door to more business between the two countries. Gruenberg volunteered to represent SPI while he was attending Plasto-Ispak.
