TOKYO — Delphi Automotive Systems expects to sell its seating, lighting and coil-spring operations by early next year, said Delphi President J.T. Battenberg III. Battenberg said a number of bidders have expressed interest in the properties.
Delphi announced last month they were for sale. Battenberg said at the Tokyo auto show that he would rather sell the operations to an existing supplier than to a Wall Street-financed startup.
