JOHNSON CONTROLS INC. — The interiors supplier's Automotive Systems Group named Rande Somma president for interior trim, marketing and new products. He continues to manage the Plymouth, Mich.-based company's Honda business and also will head operations in Japan. James Pell was named group vice president and general manager of the firm's worldwide component operations. He spent the last year as president of Schmalbach-Lubeca Plastic Containers USA Inc., a Manchester, Mich.-based company formerly owned by Johnson Controls.
LEAR CORP. — Patrick Burke was named vice president of sales and business development at the Southfield, Mich., supplier of auto interior systems. Paul Taaffe was named the firm's vice president of finance for Europe.
LIQUI-BOX CORP. — C. William McBee was named president and chief operating officer of the Worthington, Ohio, blow molder. He had been vice president of manufacturing and administration.
MACK MOLDING CO. — The board of directors of the Arlington, Vt., injection molder promoted four senior executives in two of the company's divisions. Bill Cooley was promoted from vice president of northern operations to president of the northern division, which comprises facilities in Arlington, Cavendish and Pownal, Vt.
