SHARON, MASS. — Dynisco Inc., which makes transducers, gear pumps, screen changers, testing equipment and hot-runner systems, has named Michael Mariani to a new position, vice president of planning and development.
Sharon-based Dynisco also has restructured its companies into three business groups: Dynisco Measurement & Control Group, Dynisco Auxiliary Equipment Group and Dynisco Hot Runner Group.
Richard Paolino, Dynisco president and chief executive officer, said the company wants to double in size by 2000, through internal growth, acquisitions and alliances with other companies.

Mariani was named to the new post Nov. 1. The company announced the news Jan. 22.
Mariani comes to the plastics equipment and hot-runner company from Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing, where he was director of corporate marketing.
Paolino, who joined Dynisco last year, also had held an executive position at Brown & Sharpe of North Kingstown, R.I.
