Truebro Inc., a 6-year-old proprietary injection molder in Ellington, Conn., is tackling a new market — medical — from an expanded facility. The company added 10,000 square feet to its 5,000-square-foot plant in May, but only disclosed the expansion recently. The $1 million plant's four Toyo presses have clamping forces of 90-200 tons. Truebro makes proprietary flexible PVC protective pipe coverings, and rigid PVC lavatory shields and panel basin guards. T he firm does on-site mold-making, product assembly and mold testing. Privately held Truebro employs 18.
