ARKAY INDUSTRIES INC. — Bob Veach was named training coordinator of the Miamisburg, Ohio, injection molder. He will serve initially at Arkay Plastics Alabama and then at all Arkay plants. Arkay makes components for the materials-handling, automotive and home electronics industries.
THE COOLEY GROUP — The Pawtucket, R.I., manufacturer of reinforced polymer membranes named Donald Harris vice president and chief financial officer. He had been corporate controller for Toray Plastics Inc. William King was named vice president of manufacturing, with responsibility for the Cranston, R.I., and Pawtucket plants. He had been vice president of manufacturing at Radican Systems.
GENCORP DECORATIVE & BUILDING PRODUCTS — The Fairlawn, Ohio-based firm named Kevin Byrne managing director of the Global Communication Wallcovering business and Al Restaino director of new product development. Byrne, who has relocated to England, had been vice president of marketing and product development for Decorative & Building Products. Restaino had been DuPont's business manager of nylon apparel weaving and industrial nylon.
UNIDARE PLASTICS LTD. — The Portadown, Northern Ireland, PVC pipe extruder named Michael Lorimer sales and marketing director. He had been head of sales and marketing at Samuel Lamont Group. Unidare, a management buyout from Dublin, Ireland-based Unidare plc., is being renamed Uniplas Ltd.
