New injection molding show set for Oct. '99
Modern Plastics plans to debut a trade show devoted to injection molding at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The publication announced that the Modern Injection Molding Exposition & Conference will run Oct. 5-7, 1999.
The conference will address the concern that there are too many broad-based plastics shows. It will focus on products, services and contacts that can help molding personnel run profitable businesses.
Officials said the new show won't compete with the triennial NPE show, and they did not know when a second show would be scheduled.
In addition, Modern Injection Molding Expo will run concurrently with the second Modern Mold & Tooling Exposition at McCormick Place as well as a two-day conference on business trends, technology developments and training programs.
