CHICAGO — The Brookfield, Conn.-based Society of Plastics Engineers will conduct four days of intensive technical training seminars at Plastics USA 98. The one-, two- and three-day sessions range from fundamental to advanced.
More than 40 topics will be covered in depth. Subjects include blow molding, decorating and assembly, engineering properties and structure, extrusion, injection molding, marketing and management, mold making and design, recycling, thermoforming, thermoplastics and vinyl plastics.
Early registration ended Sept. 4. Late registration fees range from $540-$835 for members and $630-$925 for nonmembers. Special rates are available for student members of SPE.
The seminars will be held on the lobby level of McCormick Place Lakeside Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an hour break at noon.
