DALLAS — Decker Industries Inc., which was purchased by Liquid Control Corp. in May, has moved to a 23,000-square-foot facility in Palm City, Fla., from its 8,000-square-foot Port Salerno, Fla., location.
Decker's need to get out of tight quarters and its growing line of dispensing systems prompted the expansion, Fredric Decker, director of engineering, said at Polyurethanes Expo '98.
``We needed more room,'' Decker said. ``We just couldn't build some of our large machines.''
The company's sales also are improving, he said, although he did not disclose annual sales figures.
The 40-year-old company manufactures a variety of high- and low-pressure polyurethane and elastomer processing systems. It serves the medical, sporting equipment, furniture, automotive, construction and other industries.
