DUSSELDORF, GERMANY — Arburg GmbH + Co. has stepped up the sizes on its Allrounder 570 C Jubilee machines, showing a Jubilee with 240 tons of clamping force at K'98.
The Jubilee, which Arburg unveiled earlier this year, had topped out at 220 tons. Jubilee presses this size and smaller are outfitted with one regulating pump. The new 240-tonner comes with more power, three regulating pumps and a special hydraulic system.
Arburg also introduced a new injection unit, able to mold parts weighing up to 26 ounces.
Also new from Arburg:
New sizes — 110 tons and 143 tons — of the Allrounder 420 and 470 S machines. Arburg improved access to the clamp by arranging the two clamping cylinders vertically. Three injection units are available for each of the two new sizes.
The company demonstrated a new feature on its Allrounder 320 S — two component molding.
Arburg has upgraded its Allrounder 221 press with a Selogica controller.
