ANAHEIM, CALIF. — Nylok Fastener Corp. of Macomb, Mich., has relocated its California manufacturing operations to a newly constructed Anaheim facility, triple the space of its former Carson site.
The privately held supplier of fastener products moved in mid-December into a facility with almost 40,000 square feet, Cecil Couch, vice president of sales, said in a telephone interview.
Hans Dorflinger heads the West Coast operations as vice president and general manager of Nylok Western. Principally, the unit supplies high technology, communications, electronics and aerospace manufacturers in Southern California.
Nylok uses mechanical devices in patented processes to apply locking elements to internal and external fastener threads using nylon or Teflon-brand fluoropolymers. Products include the Nylok True Blue self-locking patch, Nytemp high-temperature-resistant self-locking patch, Precote-brand chemical adhesives, Nycote protective thread-coating and Nyseal self-sealing element.
In addition to Michigan and California operations, Nylok has manufacturing facilities in Lincolnwood, Ill.; Hawthorne, N.J.; and Mississauga, Ontario.
