DANA CORP. — The Toledo, Ohio-based automotive supplier has named Heinz-Ubbo Eilks vice president of sealing products for its Engine Systems Group.
KITTERMAN PLASTICS — The Kansas City, Mo., custom molder has named Bradley Robertson president. He had been vice president of sales and marketing for the firm, which performs rotational molding, vacuum forming and injection molding. Earl Ford joins Kitterman as director of sales. He previously held positions with Pawnee Rotational Molding and Packerware Corp.
K'NEX INDUSTRIES INC. — The Hatfield, Pa., maker of plastic construction toys named Christopher Campbell to the new position of vice president, worldwide marketing. He will be responsible for North American marketing and international distribution, mainly through the firm's partnership with Hasbro International. Campbell replaces Peter Brown, former president of K'Nex International, who is moving on after the restructuring of the relationship between K'Nex and Hasbro.
LEADING EDGE PACKAGING INC. — Stephen DeGroat was named chairman and Bernard Esquenet was named a director and secretary of the New York-based manufacturer of packaging for luxury goods.
LEAR CORP. — The Southfield, Mich.-based automotive supplier has announced the following executive appointments: Frank Preston was named senior vice president of strategic planning and South American operations. He had been president of the Interior Systems Group. Douglas DelGrosso succeeds Preston as president of ISG. He had been president of Lear's General Motors division and continues to serve as a Lear senior vice president. Joe Zimmer replaces DelGrosso as president of the GM division. He had been vice president of North American operations for that division. Charles Fisher was named president of the Ford division. He had been president of the Chrysler division. Louis Salvatore succeeds Fisher as president of the Chrysler division. He had been vice president of global purchasing. James Masters was named president of the technology division. He had been the technology division's vice president. Steve Hayworth takes over the position of vice president of global purchasing. He most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Passenger Car I business unit for the Ford division.
NATIONAL TOOLING & MACHINING ASSOCIATION — The Fort Washington, Md., group has named David Rasmussen its chairman and C. Thomas Busch director development of the National Tooling & Machining Foundation. Rasmussen is president of PQ Enterprise LLC of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Busch is managing partner of Lindrud, Busch and Associates in Columbia, Md.
NYLOK FASTENER CORP. — The Macomb, Mich.-based supplier of fastener products named Cecil Couch vice president of sales and Leon Drake II vice president of finance. Couch had been national sales manager and Drake had served as treasurer.
OWENS CORNING — The Toledo, Ohio, firm has named Jean-Francois Santicoli president of its Engineered Pipe Systems, a maker of glass-reinforced plastic pipe. He had been vice president and general manager of building material manufacturers for the Composite Systems business. Santicoli succeeds Mike Thaman, who was named president of Owens Corning's Exterior Systems business.
SPRI — At its annual convention in Tucson, Ariz., the trade group, which represents sheet membrane and component suppliers to the commercial roofing industry, elected its 1999 officers and directors. Sarnafil Inc.'s Peter Davis was named president, succeeding Dave Bailie of Stevens Roofing Systems. Ken Wolford of Siplast takes on the role of president-elect. Bob Nelson of Duro-Last Inc. assumes the duties of secretary-treasurer. Don Levinsohn of SFS Stadler Inc. and Jim Miller of Metal-Era Inc. were elected to two-year terms as directors of the Needham, Mass.-based group.

Reinhard Katz has been named group vice president of the Global Styrenic Copolymers business for BASF CORP. at the company's world headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany. ... Wilmington, Del.-based DUPONT named Jeffrey Keefer vice president and general manager of DuPont White Pigment & Mineral Products, a division that produces titanium dioxide. He succeeds George MacCormack, who has been named group vice president of the firm's polyester business. ... Dublin, Ohio-based ASHLAND CHEMICAL CO. named Hank Waters vice president and general manager of its Ashland Plastics — Europe division.
