SANDERSON, FLA. — Sanderson Pipe Corp. will add to its total throughput within the next year, said President Barry Ian King.
Sanderson plans on adding 70 million pounds of capacity to its existing 84 million pounds. The firm has 18 PVC extrusion lines and makes pipe for the plumbing, irrigation, electrical and telecommunications markets.
King said the company will renovate the facility and replace older extruders. It also has plans to start focusing more closely on conduit manufacturing.
The Sanderson-based firm is a unit of M.S. Pipe Inc. of Houston. Sanderson ranks 45th in Plastics News' survey of North American pipe, profile and tubing extruders with estimated sales of $42 million.
