AKRON, OHIO (Sept. 7, 4 p.m. EDT) — A variety of plastics packaging trends and applications will command the spotlight when Plastics News' Executive Forum 2000 convenes in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., this fall.
The Oct. 13-16 conference for senior plastics processing executives includes a Thursday morning session assessing rigid-packaging market prospects, and another on flexible packaging the following day.
Keith Harbison, president and chief executive officer of acquisitive container blow molder Pretium Packaging LLC of St. Louis, will team up with Hoop Roche, president and CEO of Pennsylvania injection molder Erie Plastics Co., for the Oct. 14 session.
Rick Durham, president and CEO of Huntsman Packaging Corp. in Salt Lake City, and John Powers, executive vice president of AEP Industries Inc. of South Hackensack, N.J., will discuss industry consolidation, challenges and opportunities in their session on flexibles the next day.
