BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — Plastics Forum 2000, scheduled for May 18-20, will combine a major symposium organized by European Plastics Converters with general sessions and seminars by its 16 sectoral member associations. Organizers expect the event to draw at least 500 plastics processors to Le Palais des Congres in Brussels. The meeting is designed to showcase the region's plastics industry for a gathering of top politicians, scientists and academics, according to Brussels-based EUPC.
Issues such as new markets, new technologies and new materials will be dealt with by sectoral experts. Those sessions will be held on May 18 and will include assemblies sponsored by EUPC affiliates the European Association of Plastics Packaging Manufacturers, PET Converters & Recyclers, the European Rigid PVC Film Association, Oriented PP-Film Manufacturers, European Automotive Trim Suppliers, European Plastics Recyclers and the European Plastics Pipes & Fittings Association.
