WASHINGTON — U.S. companies wanting to do business in China have a government ally. The U.S. Department of Commerce can help arrange meetings and put together market research to help pave the way for a visit. The Commerce Department works through its Commercial Service unit in Guangzhou, China. Its Goldkey service will identify local contacts, make appointments, brief clients on market research and assist with both logistics and interpreters.
The Goldkey service costs $400 for the first day, and $200 for each additional day.
For information, contact the Commercial Service at 14/F China Hotel Office Tower, Liu Hua Lu, Guangzhou, China 510015. Or call them at +86 (20) 8667-4011.
