Raytek Corp. introduced an infrared device, called Thermalert MP50, that measures sheet and film as it is produced. New DataTemp MP software gives real-time thermal images in two dimensions and three-dimensions. The software runs on Windows NT. The company in Santa Cruz, Calif., is touting a fast scan rate of the rotating optical system, which collects infrared radiation at 256 points within a 90 degree field-of-view.
