ROSELLE, ILL. — A new trade association has formed targeting companies that machine plastics. The International Plastics Fabricators Association in Roselle formed April 1 to represent companies that cut, bend and shape plastic rod, sheet, film and tube.
The IPFA plans educational seminars, including a September event in Chicago, and hopes to set up an online vendor database, said John Kasper, executive director of the association. Kasper said his consulting firm, Solutions for Associations Inc., manages other trade associations.
IPFA dues are $270 for regular members and $435 for associate members through the end of the year, when rates will rise, Kasper said.
